It's been just a few days shy of 2 weeks since the Twitter Gotcha kick off & it has been one wild ride.
From the start a total of 60 people were secretly matched against each other & as time went on we started to realize that some of those match-ups were not at all random. Our "Game Master" put a lot of thought into who would chase who, as only a great game master would and by the wee morning hours of Monday May 9th everyone had received the names of their first targets. Since then there have been threatening letters, backstabbing & plenty of trash talk. It seems, however, that in order to advance in this game, that is not the way to ensure victory ... but thats just my opinion. Although it definitely does make the experience all the more fun.
I will admit though that you absolutely will not be successful at this without effort. In most cases, you cannot just expect your target to simply be handed to you on a silver platter. NO! To win it you've got to be in it!! As a beginner Gotcha player I was grossly underestimated as I knew I would be but for an underdog I think I'm doing pretty darn well. I am currently tied for 1st place having "gotten" 5 of my targets. FYI - I would've had target #6 in the bag if my plan wasn't foiled but the Gotcha Mole but hey what doesn't kill me only makes me stronger, right?
Sooooo let's fast forward to today. Only 21 people remain, 8 of which have yet to get a single target & will face disqualification if they haven't progressed by tomorrow. That will bring us into the next phase of the game & my prediction is things are about to get ugly(er)
Stay tuned.....
Quick Update...
